Monica is the Founderof BIZSTARTS, LLC, and an instructor for SBA’s e200 Program since 2008, a program to help businesses grow. She serves as an adjunct Instructor at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Entrepreneurship Certificate Program teaching ”Small Business Management,” ”Small Business Startup,” and “Small Business Marketing”  and is active in Urbandale Chamber of Commerce  , National Association of Women Business Owners, Central Iowa Chapter , Iowa State University Alumni Association , andGreater Des Moines Partnership  Monica was a banker for 30 years and made loans to small businesses.
